“Celestopia”, the first full length album by psychedelic rock band True Lilith, was released July 22, 2022. True Lilith began as a sort of fever dream outlet for Chloe James, a teenager with aspirations bigger than that of her hometown, Belmont, North Carolina. With the realization that music was not only an escape from reality but also the key to expanding the world in which she lived, she quickly sought out fellow like minded musicians in hopes of forming a partnership. The dark psychedelic sound is apparent in their new album “Celestopia” which explores the boundaries between the material and spiritual world. The album release show will be held at Snug Harbor on Thursday, August 4th at 10pm with fellow Belmont bands Ink Swell and Wastoid. Tickets are $10 and ages 18 and up are welcome. Link available here:
