Boygenius at Live Oak Bank Pavilion in Wilmington

On June 14th Boygenius brought their current tour to Wilmington, North Carolina at Live Oak Bank Pavilion. The show started with Bartees Strange, an alternative/indie artist based in DC. His set brought the perfect energy to start out the night. Bartees Strange recently released his latest single titled “Daily News” which you can check out here: Daily News

Following Bartees Strange was Boygenius. With the three powerhouse artists that make up Boygenius, it comes to no surprise that they put on a phenomenal set. Boygenius started off their set with performing “Without You Without Them” from behind the stage followed by “$20”. The whole crowd was screaming the lyrics at the top of their lungs for the duration of the whole show. Boygenius played a majority of their debut album release, the record. The mix of Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Dacus, and Julien Baker’s talent was captivating to watch. Their energy performing together flows so fluently. Overall, I would say that Boygenius put on one of the best performances I have ever seen live.
