Ask Carol arrived to play at The Milestone Club in Charlotte, North Carolina on September 26th, 2024 to weather already showing signs of Hurricane Helene making its way closer with heavy rain and wind. The Milestone remained open and fans turned up to see Ask Carol with Groove Skeletons, Morrowville, Tecate Sunrise and Tiny City also playing. The night was full of great night music as The Milestone Club continues to deliver great shows.
Ask Carol is a duo that has to be seen live to be fully appreciated, in my opinion. Based out of Auma, Norway, Ask Carol often have a calming and unique sound layered with style of instrumentation and vocal delivery that is entirely their own, premiering a new song “Wind In My Hair” for the first time during the set. Watching both Mr. Ask and Carol alternate between drums, guitars, samples, and more to create their musical soundscape was a truly memorable experience.
