The Ritz in Raleigh, NC was filled with smiles and bluesy tunes on Friday, July 11th, 2025. Shakey Graves (Austin-based musician Alejandro Rose-Garcia) rolled through town, supported by the band Whitney, and left the crowd speechless with their smooth and folky rock-and-roll performance. On tour celebrating ten years of “And The War Came”, his second studio album, Graves played the original track list in full, including well-loved songs like “Dearly Departed”. He sprinkled in several other songs from his expansive discography such as fan favorites “Tomorrow” and “Roll the Bones”. Needless to say, the crowd left The Ritz with bright smiles on their faces and folky music deep in their souls. Check out the photo coverage from the show below.
