We Came As Romans at The Fillmore

The Bad Luck Tour hit The Fillmore in Charlotte on July 30, bringing Johnny Booth, After the Burial, Currents, and We Came as Romans for a night that stayed high-energy from start to finish.

Johnny Booth opened things up and set the bar right away. They came out swinging—tight playing, huge energy, and a crowd that was already moving even this early in the night. Short set, but it made an impact.

After the Burial kept that momentum going without missing a beat. Their mix of technical riffs and heavy grooves always hits live, and tonight was no different. Everything sounded clear without losing the low-end punch, and you could tell the crowd was locked in.

Currents took things to another level with a setlist that didn’t waste a single song. They blended crushing breakdowns with big, soaring choruses, and the crowd was right there for every moment. You could feel that back-and-forth energy—band and audience feeding off each other in the best way.

We Came as Romans closed the night on a high note. Heavy when it needed to be, anthemic when it counted, and full of the kind of moments that have the whole room singing. They wrapped up the show in a way that felt both massive and personal.

Four bands, no filler—just a stacked night where everyone came ready to deliver.
