If you’re a Thrice fan you already know they recently released their 11th studio album, the fantastic Horizons/East. Thrice has been on the road the past couple weeks bringing that new music to excited crowds all over the country. They stopped by The Underground at The Fillmore Charlotte last week and all I can say is it was amazing. Self Defense Family and Touché Amoré started off the show just right, getting the crowd worked up with their energetic performances. Then Thrice took the stage, diving straight into the incredible opening track from Horizons/East, The Color of the Sky, and immediately flowing into the hard hitting new single, Scavengers. From there they treated us to a variety of songs encompassing their 20 plus year career, like The Artist and the Ambulance, Black Honey, Hurricane, In Exile, and so many more. They closed out the evening with an emotional Beyond the Pines/Anthology encore that had the crowd swaying, hands in the air, singing along with every word.

The Horizons/East Tour continues through the end of October.
