Richmond-based Pop-punk band Almost Gone Snaps Necks Opening for Red Jumpsuit Apparatus
Red Jumpsuit Apparatus kicked off their 15th Anniversary tour for their debut album “Don’t You Fake It” in the fall of 2021, and Richmond based pop-punk quartet Almost Gone jumped at the opportunity to open for them as they toured through their hometown of Richmond, VA.
Red Jumpsuit carried good company on the road with them, with Astoria State and the Escape the Fate singer-fronted band, Dead Rabbits as headliners on the tour. Almost Gone took the stage right before Astoria State, taking the stage as the Lil Jon anthem “Turn Down for What” played over the club PA system as they usually do.
Almost Gone slammed an open chord to kick off their performance and demanded audience members come to the front as opposed to sitting back and watching the show. At this point the band launched into their single “Better Off”, a high energy song intended to get the audience moving. The group spent the rest of the set making believers out of the crowd, playing songs such as “Rut” “306” and finishing their set with their currently promoted single, “Burn”.
The group thanked the other bands for having them as guests and then left the stage, having successfully prepared the audience for the hours of kick-ass music that was to come.
Almost Gone is currently streaming on all major platforms. Find them on Facebook and Instagram for upcoming show dates!
