Twenty One Pilots is currently on the road taking their massive production ‘The Icy Tour’ to major cities all across North America. We were lucky enough to catch them at The Spectrum Center in Charlotte, NC.
Up-and-coming indie artist Peter McPoland took the stage first. Though fairly young in his musical career, he performed with a confidence exceeding many long time musicians. The nearly 13,000 fans packed into The Spectrum Center may have been there for Twenty One Pilots, but McPoland‘s non-stop high energy performance was perfect for getting everyone fired up and excited.

Twenty One Pilots is well known for their fantastic and massive performances, and this one absolutely did not disappoint. Their set started off with a trippy video sequence involving a mysterious blue door that led them on to the stage in the midst of a snowstorm then proceeded on for nearly two hours of tremendous visuals, multiple stages, mattress crowd surfing, surprise appearances in the audience, and pure non-stop fun that made thousands of people’s concert dreams come true.
