Death Cab for Cutie brought their ‘I Built You A Tower’ World Tour to Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek in Raleigh, NC on July 22 with support from Japanese Breakfast.
With the release of I Built You a Tower, Death Cab for Cutie’s eleventh studio album, fans have eagerly anticipated a tour centered around the new record. Death Cab for Cutie opened their set with ‘Riptides‘, the first single that was released when the band announced their newest record. It was the perfect start to a night filled with both new songs and beloved classics.
A memorable moment from the show was when the band performed ‘I Will Follow You Into The Dark‘. Vocalist Ben Gibbard asked the crowd to sing the final chorus by themselves and the response was incredible. With thousands of voices in unison, the crowd sang their hearts out to one of the most beloved songs by the band.
The ‘I Built You A Tower’ World Tour continues through the remainder of 2026. Check out the upcoming tour dates below.
