This nearly sold-out show was kicked off by The Eccentrics, a North Carolina based fuzz-rock band with stage-presence to fit the name. The five-piece pulled out all the stops with each electric song moving into the next, giving the audience little time to catch their breath before the next rhythm stormed in. As their set came to a close, The Muse was packed with people, anticipation, and the desire to buy those guys’ t-shirt. Headlining were The Walbournes, who delivered a powerhouse performance highlighted by the group’s insane guitar licks and catchy, screamable lyrics. Their commanding stage presence and obvious chemistry made this performance arguably one of their best- especially considering how many times the band could barely be heard behind the screaming of the crowd.
The Eccentrics are Kyle Parsons, Mike Freeman, Jay Hanel, Alex Lozada and Joseph Flais
The Walbournes are Trey Allen, D.J. Buchanan, Eli Helms and Colin Moser
