BEARTOOTH BRINGS THEIR “BELOW” TOURPART II TOUR TO RALEIGH, NC

Beartooth’s “Below” Tour Part II came to Raleigh, NC the other night. The night started out with Erra, who have begun making a name for themselves in a big way by opening up for some serious heavy-hitters on recent tours. I had the pleasure of being introduced to them last year when they were on tour with August Burns Red so I was excited to get to shoot them again.

The Devil Wears Prada came out next. Vocalist Mike Hranica was a literal whirlwind of energy. This was my first time seeing them and I was very impressed by their stage presence!

Silverstein was next, playing an energetic career-spanning set. They were clearly an audience favorite.

Finally the moment had come that we were all impatiently waiting for: the headliner, Beartooth!
They kicked off with their hit song “Below”, while confetti cannons burst into the air. Frontman
Caleb Shomo instructed the crowd to jump along with him as he leapt around the stage. Mid-set
he stopped and stood there, seeming to just be taking it all in. The crowd began chanting in
unison, “Beartooth! Beartooth!”. He then began instructing each section of the audience to
cheer, like a conductor in an orchestra. His power over the crowd was definitely impressive! The
hardcore band closed out their highly energetic set with an encore of The Past Is Dead, and The
Last Riff.
