Southern California bands Lit and Hoobastank kicked off the second stop of their co-headlining “Tried-N-True” tour at Ziggy’s in High Point, NC. They were accompanied by Alien Ant Farm and Kristopher Roe of The Ataris. Lit continues to be known as one of the most prominent bands to come out of the post-grunge and power-punk era of the late 1990s and recently released their latest album “Tastes Like Gold” in June of 2022. Hoobastank, after canceling their Indonesian show only a few weeks prior due to their guitarist Dan breaking his foot, started this tour stronger than ever. In November of 2021, Hoobastank celebrated the 20th anniversary of their self-titled album which kick-started their career. This was the first time either band has performed in this particular region of the Piedmont Triad.
