SoulSeason has been around for some time, pushing out high-quality heavy metal into the metal scenes. They pair their excellent songs with fantastic stage presence and persistence. SoulSeason has a new album coming out titled Beast of Mind!

After listening through several times for this review and playing some songs many times over; I am convinced this is Promethiums best work yet. This album is Brilliant!

Violent Life Violent Death deliver a very well produced effort.  The sound is big, and despite the gritty and crunchy style, the EP doesn’t become muddy or undiscernible, a problem that so many hardcore and metal recordings suffer from.  Come, Heavy Breath is something the band should be proud of making and something you should be happy to add to your collection. It is available now on their bandcamp!

Through Pangea, Killakoi shows skill, experience, and a drive that can be heard in every song. After listening to this EP it is clear that this band has what it takes to make a name for themselves. Pangea was released on June 2, and can be found on Spotify, iTunes, and more.

Rock is a relatively young genre, but that doesn’t stop it from featuring an extremely diverse range of sounds. These can range from the extremely heavy, like death metal and deathcore, to soft and even acoustic groups. Obsidian Darling’s new EP, In The Dark, falls on the latter end of the spectrum. Releasing on 19th April, 2018, it delivers seven tracks of beautiful, entrancing sound.

Death and extreme metal have always been somewhat of a niche genre in metal. It has nonetheless managed to attract a huge following over the years, with some of the biggest names becoming global brands.
